With higher concentrations of vitamins, antioxidants, and omega-3 fatty acids, grass-fed beef steak has a better nutritional profile than grain-fed beef. This organic, pasture-raised meat has a juicy, tender texture and a strong, deep flavor.
Ingredients:
1 Grass-fed Beef Steak (NY Strip or Ribeye)
2 teaspoons Olive Oil or Grass-fed Beef Tallow
Salt and Freshly Ground Black Pepper
Optional: Garlic Powder, Rosemary, or Thyme
Steps:
Preparation:
Preheat:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
Cooking:
Heat the olive oil or grass-fed beef tallow in a skillet over medium-high heat until it’s hot but not smoking.
Sear the steak in the hot skillet for about 2-3 minutes on each side, or until a nice crust forms.
Transfer the skillet to the preheated oven and cook the steak for about 5-7 minutes, or until it reaches your desired level of doneness (medium-rare is recommended for grass-fed beef).
Resting:
Remove the steak from the oven and let it rest on a cutting board or plate for about 5 minutes. This allows the juices to redistribute throughout the meat.
Serving:
Slice the steak against the grain and serve with your favorite sides, such as roasted vegetables, mashed potatoes, or a fresh salad.
Enjoy your perfectly cooked grass-fed beef steak!
