Maple-Glazed Salmon:
Ingredients:
1 tablespoon apple cider vinegar
2 cloves garlic, minced
Salt and freshly ground black pepper
Optional: 1/2 teaspoon red pepper flakes for a touch of heat
Steps:
Preparation:
Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C).
In a small bowl, mix the maple syrup, soy sauce, Dijon mustard, apple cider vinegar, minced garlic, salt, pepper, and red pepper flakes (if using).
Season the salmon:
Place the salmon fillets on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper or foil.
Brush the maple glaze generously over the top of the salmon fillets.
Baking:
Bake the salmon in the preheated oven for about 12–15 minutes, or until the salmon flakes easily with a fork and reaches an internal temperature of 145°F (63°C).
During the last 5 minutes of baking, brush the salmon with more glaze for an extra layer of flavor.
Serving:
Serve the maple-glazed salmon with steamed vegetables, quinoa, or a fresh salad.
